I ordered the Sam Edelman Ethyl Top-Zip Demi Shoulder Bag in Navy. The bag is very well made, and the zipper is sturdy and works easily. The gold zipper and hardware accents add a nice contrast to the navy quilted material of the bag. There is a small, zippered compartment on the inside of the bag. This bag is small, so make sure you pay attention to the measurements. Although the description says “demi shoulder bag”, this is definitely a bag meant to be carried by the handle. If you put it on your shoulder, the bag sits right in your armpit area because there is only a 4 inch clearance between the top of the strap and the top of the purse. This little bag will be a great “going out” purse, but it is not one I will carry daily due to its small size, due to personal preference.
I like the simple white and gold combination on this bag. It looks crisp, elegant, and only a little flashy. The gold hardware adds just enough contrast and interest. My husband even complimented it the first time I took this out, which is always a good sign.
The size is perfect for me. It's only slightly larger than my usual go-to (Coach Nolita), so it holds my essentials without feeling bulky. It can comfortably fit my phone, a pen, a travel size hand cream, and a lip balm, which is realistically all I ever really carry. It's compact but practical. The quilted texture gives it a soft, padded look while still maintaining its structure. It has a zippered pouch on the inside as well.
I'm a creature of habit, but I can see myself using this purse quite a lot. It's light and on the smaller side, but still has a lot of storage space. It holds everything that I need and still has room to spare, and it looks cute doing so.

This bag is just the right size to hold all of your evening essentials and the inside also incorporates a side zippered compartment. The exterior quilt like material is made out of a denim type, puffy material with designer stitching throughout. Includes matte brass hardware on the all leather strap, main zipper, and the same with the insignia on the side. This stunning evening bag could go with just about any outfit your closet can throw at it. Perfect bag for an evening out with friends and professional enough for any after hour office cocktails with clients too! The craftsmanship on this bag is top notch and this bag feels very durable as well! Overall, I'm thrilled with this bag. Based on the quality of materials, craftsmanship, size, and price point, I consider this an excellent value and a great addition to your purse collection!
